Aly's Prom Closet
Aly’s Prom Closet is a program founded in 2002 by Family Counseling Service of Northern Nevada, a local non-profit organization.

With the support of local companies and volunteers, Aly’s Prom Closet provides the resources to ensure financially challenged teens can attend their prom.

In partnership with Shoppers Square Mall and other local service providers, Aly’s Prom Closet provides dresses, shoes, boutonnieres, corsages, hair styles, make-up and other related services to make the student's special night memorable.

Since its inception in 2002, the Aly’s Prom Closet store has successfully assisted over  3,800 students.

Aly’s Prom Closet is named for Aly Christiansen, a Bishop Manogue High School graduate, killed in an automobile accident in 2001.  This program exemplifies the spirit of giving and caring that Aly lived every day.

For more information on our program, please call (775) 329-0623.

2016 Aly's Prom Closet
is now closed for the season.  We look forward to see you in March 2017!

The store is located at the corner of Plumb Lane and So. Virginia Street,

in Shoppers Square Mall,  on the 2nd level.

We are no longer accepting donations, but will begin taking gently used prom attire in March, 2017 at our store.
