Aly's Prom Closet
Aly’s Prom Closet is a program founded in 2002 by Family Counseling Service of Northern Nevada, a local non-profit organization.

With the support of local companies and volunteers, Aly’s Prom Closet provides the resources to ensure financially challenged teens can attend their prom.

In partnership with Shopper’s Square Mall and other local service providers, Aly’s Prom Closet provides dresses, tuxedos, shoes, boutonnieres, corsages, hair styles, make-up, prom tickets and other related services to make their special night memorable.

Since its inception in 2002, the Aly’s Prom Closet store has successfully assisted over  2,500 students.

Aly’s Prom Closet is named for Aly Christiansen, a Bishop Manogue High School graduate, killed in an automobile accident in 2001.  This program exemplifies the spirit of giving and caring that Aly lived every day.
